Scary but true, Turdblossom II
It's 2004 all over again! Not only are touchscreen machines flipping votes from Obama to McCain in West VA.
It's also happening in Texas.
And in Tennessee. There's a reason for this. And a plan.
Yesterday we launched our Part Two in the Turdblossom "lecture series" and it's going all over the country to young voters. This short, entertaining, animated video features Karl Rove/Turdblossom, demonstrating how the voting machines can be hacked.

Now, we've got to alert people to pay attention to the vote counting, not just go home, pop a cool one and watch the returns.
We really need to collect the evidence. There are a bunch of options: fill out incident reports, poll monitor, audit the vote count, participate in citizen exit polls. It's all in our hip and comprehensive Voters Guide.

Maybe you have never had a problem at the polling place on election day
or have never received a letter stating that you've been purged from the rolls. Consider yourself very lucky! There are many American citizens who have had trouble.
Big trouble happened in 2004 in Ohio (check out Cheated!) when hundreds of voters were purged from the rolls, sent to the wrong polling places, refused entry to vote, rushed through their voting process and left to wait for hours because there weren't enough machines available. It was a big old mess that gave birth to Wake Up and Save Your Country and got the bus rolling to Washington, DC to protest. We've been protesting and educating ever since!
